Diorissimo was created by famed perfumer Edmond Roudnitska and first released in 1956. Breaking with the contemporary trend of very sweet perfumes, Roudnitska's Diorissimo is a refreshing, green herbal and white floral fragrance that is simple and luminous: perfect for spring and summer wear.
The scent opens with crisp, dewy notes of new foliage and fresh rosemary blended with the citrus-aromatic nuances of bergamot. Clean, bright florals define the heart notes, mingling boronia, amaryllis, and lilac with ylang-ylang, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley. Civet and soft sandalwood balance and define the floral effusion of the introduction, producing a simple, elegant finish.
